I read this book in one evening. I really like the heroine. She has character, she is not sweet Barbie girl. For her life is not easy and she doesn't believe in love.
She is socially inept, she is awkward, she has never been ideal but one day in next new school she meets people. They will change her life. And she desires change, because she become important for someone else. This book is true, funny and very serious, this is story about growing up and how learning to love yourself. Because when you really love yourself, you could get out of your head and truly meet others.

I enjoyed how the heroine in this story thought she was alone and everyone else was happy and carefree only to learn they all suffer from similar problems as her. It was a realistic look into the lives of teenagers and the self image issues we all can relate to. I also liked how the relationships played out through out the story, there was no unrealistic instant "I'd die for you" love that we see too much of in the YA genre. All of the relationships took work and courage and time to even get started, the way it is in reality.
While it was by no means perfect or the world's greatest book, it changed my life. Maybe it was because I related to the main character so much as a young girl who has so much love in her , but couldn't bring herself to give that love away because she's afraid that losing that love will break her heart much more than she can take. Everyone should read this look because a lot of us lives life in regret and this book teaches readers a very valuable lesson that saying and doing what we want is part of who we are and under no circumstances is that something to be ashamed of , even if it means you don't please everyone you meet.
